If you are enrolled in the Albany Med health benefits plan, 518-AMC-TEAM is among a number of enhancements made for 2020. They include:

  • Lower copays (money paid at the point of service) for Albany Med inpatient admission, outpatient surgery, Emergency Department and EmUrgentCare visits under Core Plus and Core plan options

  • No deductibles (money paid before a service is covered) for visits to Albany Med providers under the Core Plus and Core plan options

  • Lower prescription costs for many medications, particularly those filled at the Albany Med Outpatient Pharmacy.

If you are an established patient, continue to schedule appointments through your provider’s office.

This special employee access line is available for Albany Med employees and dependents to make new patient appointments with Albany Med providers. A list of providers scheduling patients through 518-AMC-TEAM may be found further in this document. 518-AMC-TEAM schedules new appointments for adult and pediatric allergy and immunology, bariatrics and nutrition, cardiology, adult endocrinology, adult ENT, adult gastroenterology, adult pulmonary, adult rheumatology, adult and pediatric urology, breast surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, adult general surgery and adult plastic surgery.

Referrals are required to schedule appointments with pediatric endocrinology, pediatric ENT, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric neurology, pediatric plastic surgery, pediatric pulmonary, pediatric rheumatology, pediatric surgery, nephrology, neurology and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

No. This special access line is open for all Albany Med employees and their families to schedule appointments with Albany Med providers regardless of their coverage plan.

Appointments will be scheduled as soon as possible based on availability and severity of the condition.

At this time, CMH and Saratoga Hospital providers are not considered Albany Med providers. However, Albany Med continues to expand its relationship with our affiliate hospitals and hopes to include CMH and Saratoga Hospital providers in the future.
